Johannes Brahms
The Heidelberger Frühling Festival season 2024 was dedicated to one of the most important composers: Johannes Brahms.
From the Streichquartettfest in January to the Musikfestival in March and April and the Liedfestival in June, the audience experienced an intensive exploration of Johannes Brahms' music. One focus was on the performance of the complete chamber music and solo piano works. This wide-ranging exhibition was complemented by organ and choral works, songs and the violin concerto. A total of 76 works and groups of works by Johannes Brahms were on the programme.
